There is snow on the ground
here in North Bend/ Coos Bay but the sun is currently coming out and the
roads are slushy but clear. I just talked to someone who came down
hwy 38 and also someone who drove hwy 101 North this morning and they said
the roads were fine. Plan on extra time if you are traveling.
Conditions may get colder tonight. If you are traveling please use
your own best judgment. For road conditions and a peek at road

pictures from the Roseburg, Garden Valley Cam are similar to the
way conditions look here in North Bend/ Coos Bay. Travelers
please be careful and do not risk your safety.
PLEASE NOTE :
I have also booked the
Coos Bay Library, "Cedar Room" for Friday the 12th for a
meeting with Rory from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
We need to take advantage and learn from him while we have the
chance. Rory is an excellent speaker and knows the energy
markets and LNG issues like no one else. The public forum on the
11th will not really give him enough time to share the vast wealth of
knowledge that he has. For those of you that would like to learn
more please feel free to come and join us.
