Subject: Pipeline Land Owners - A Chance to be Heard
To: Undisclosed-Recipient@,
Hello Pipeline land Owners:

The Pipeline Safety Trust sent me an e-mail a while back stating that they were starting work on their next newsletter, which is due out in March. They intend to have a general article regarding the fairly sudden rash of new pipelines that are proposed around North America. One thing they would like to do is to allow residents in a few of the areas that pipelines are proposed to provide their story of how the proposed pipeline will/has affected them and their community.

Unfortunately the e-mail got buried and I just came across it again.  We now only have until this Friday the 23rd to get this in.

If you are interested/willing to write a short piece about the pacific connector pipeline please let me know. They only want short pieces (300-500 words), and would be happy to help with reviewing and editing if you are concerned about your writing ability.  They are mainly  interested in how you got involved, how you have been treated, why  you are concerned.  They can provide the background about the proposed  pipeline to go with your thoughts.  If you have not seen their newsletters before you can download the last edition at:  http://www.pstrust.org/newsletter/vol2no1/pstnewsletter_vol2no1_complete.pdf  The newsletter is distributed nationally.  It goes out electronically to about 1000 individuals, is mailed to 200, and is available at  various pipeline meetings, conferences, and on their website http://www.pstrust.org.  Please let me know if any of you would be interested in this.

Thanks!
