TEMPLE 420 MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT VERIFICATION OF INFORMATION NECESSARYTO COMPLY WITH MEMBERSHIP IN TEMPLE 420 We are a Biblical based organization that requires each member to act in a responsible, law-abiding manner, and to conduct themselves in a way that represents our congregation in a positive light.  People wishing to join Temple 420 must present a valid driver’s license from one of the fifty U.S. states or valid U.S. passport. ** Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to join Temple 420 as a “Member of the Temple.”   All people wishing to become a “Member of the Temple” will be asked to provide valid photo identification when joining in person.  Applicants must also have a credit card or U.S. checking account as a second form of identification.  We require that to join Temple 420 each member place his or her faith in the God of the Bible.  Further, since we are building a community of like-minded people our members must consider cannabis to be one of the plants that God created for man’s use in the Book of Genesis.  Temple 420 members know cannabis is written about in the Book of Revelation, chapter 22, when it speaks of a plant “for the healing of all nations.”  Our members view cannabis as a healing plant, specifically, a plant “for the healing of the all nations” as is spoken of in the Book of Revelation. ** Non-U.S. citizens are allowed to join our congregation, but the Temple’s offer to defend members from misdemeanor possession of marijuana for sacramental purposes only applies inside the actual United States of America and to members who are American citizens.   

Rights & Responsibilities As a “Member of the Temple” you are entitled to certain privileges, but there are certain responsibilities for Temple members in order to benefit from those privileges.  Each person wishing to become a “Member of the Temple” must read, understand and acknowledge the following:  Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993, 42 U.S.C. 2000, et seq., requires the government to permit the importation, distribution, possession, and use of a Schedule I hallucinogenic controlled substance when done so for religious purposes members of our Temple use cannabis as a religious sacrament; therefore, the members of “Temple 420” may use, possess, cultivate and disseminate among other Temple members, cannabis as protected by the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America. Any member of “Temple 420” who is arrested or ticketed for misdemeanor cannabis possession within the boundaries of the United States of America is entitled to be represented by a licensed attorney paid for by the Temple, free of charge to the member, provided certain conditions are met. Those conditions are that the person must be a Temple “member in good standing” and “contact the Temple for assistance within the appropriate time,” as stated below in this agreement.  A Temple “member in good standing” is anyone who has faith in the one true God of the Bible, has paid their annual membership dues, and has not been convicted of a violent felony since joining the Temple.  These restrictions exists to curb potential abuse of our generosity and to encourage the creation of a cohesive community of faith.  “The appropriate time period” for a member to contact the congregation for free representation after being ticketed or arrested on the misdemeanor charge of cannabis possession is within the first 100 hours of being either ticketed or arrested for misdemeanor possession.   Provided the above requirements are met Temple members are eligible to have the Temple pay 100% of legal costs for the misdemeanor charge of possession of religious cannabis.     ________Member’s Initial 

Waiver and Release of Liability Temple 420 urges all members to obtain a physical examination from a doctor before participating in any ceremony or ritual that includes sacramental herbs. Any and or all consumption of sacramental herbs shall be at the member's sole risk.  Each member understands that the decision to join this congregation is voluntary and the Temple shall not be liable to member for any claims, demands, injuries, damage or actions arising from the use of sacramental herbs during worship.    ________Member’s Initial

This membership will go on in perpetuity as long as annual dues have been paid as specified in the membership agreement. This a continuous payment plan and will continue until the buyer terminates the agreement in writing.
