The vaporizer study was one of the studies that they knew would show definitively that not only does Vaporization deliver more of the medicine within Cannabis, but it can allow you to use the trim from buds with casement leaves rich with THC and CBD, instead of using them only for making oil or butter, or cold water hash.  It also allows for using less and getting a larger, longer sustaining dose of medicine into the blood stream quickly.  They had been trying to say that smoking cannabis was too dirty and cancerous to be medicinal...Will the dangers of marijuana never end?  Not if the DEA can help it!  Did you know it funds Terrorism...or so I am told.

Vaporization settings and amounts to use...
If you are coughing too much when using your vaporizer one or two things may be happening and I had to learn this from a young man who is active in the "Cannabis Action Network".  We had been discussing vaporizers and settings and I told him I had been using 41/2- 43/4 setting on my Volcano, and he said that is too low.  I said I had asthma and it gave me trouble turned up to 51/2-6.  It was working form me at a lower temp. I finally asked his girlfriend how much she put in....and there was My problem.  I was covering the bottom and then some.  It put out too much smoke, and made me have Asthma problems because I had put too much in and was getting too much smoke.  I learned from this couple that you can use much less and get much more from less, by putting in less MMJ and tuning up the temp.to a more efficient temperature.  If I am already past my days allowance for Vicodin I vaporize  every time!

The vapolution site that Shar gave me shows a VaporCannon that looks like
it's made from a soldering iron and a temp controler, both of which I have,
and they're good ones that are made for stained glass. I don't have $100...
hell, I don't have $20 extra to buy anything right now, but I'm really good
at making things.

However, pictures, etc. don't work for me. I need to see something "in
action" to comprehend how it works if I'm not familiar with it's use. I
can't see how the thing is used just by looking at pictures... anyone know
what I mean here?

Hand me a book of instructions to something I know nothing about and usually
I'm lost. But demonstrate how something works and I'll grasp it right away.

I guess I need to get out and meet more of the patients in my area because
most of the people I know don't medicate, and the ones that do don't use
this type of device.

I'll check those links after awhile Nan, if I can stay awake. And thanks for
the site info Shar... I don't have to hit the thrift store for one of those
"old fashioned" vaporizers from childhood. I wonder if one would work
though, if you could convert it over somehow... hmmmm.
